Serious action against terrorists demanded
Hyderabad: Chief of Tahafuz-i-Namoos-i-Risalat (TNR) Dr. Sahabzada Zubair has said that imposing curfew is no solution to Karachi target killings and lawlessness; instead the government should take action against the terrorists, which are already well-known.
This he said while talking to a delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) comprising Qari Niaz Ahmed Naqshbandi, Sufi Abdul Kareem, Nazim Ali Arain and Ghulam Husain Arain here on Monday. He said that the Governor and Chief Minister Sindh should be sacked for their failure to control target killings and rising crime and serious steps be taken to make Karachi a weapon fee city. He said that the provincial government, despite knowing the terrorists, could not summon courage to launch operation against them. He said Karachi is burning and its citizens facing immense problems, but the sitting government is doing nothing to change the sad state of affairs. He regretted that the government is spending billions of rupees on law enforcement agencies but they are not providing safety of life and property to the citizens.
