Hub elbow out Rangiwara to enter Lyari Football League quarters

KARACHI: Rangiwara lost to Hub 2-0 and Khada were held to 0-0 draw by in the PFF-KESC Lyari Football League 2011 here on Sunday at Kalakots Shaheed Abdul Rehman Park.

By virtue of Hubs win, Rangiwara made their exit while from Group-A while Hub and Nawalane joined Lyari Town, Baghdadi and Kalakot in the quarter-finals.

The Khada-Bela clash saw Khadas Bilal in fine form and was later on adjudged Man of the Match, taking the shield from former PIA player Imtiaz Ahmed. Both the teams collected their first point in Group-D.

The Group-A clash ended in favor of Hub who struck once in each half to beat and eliminate Rangiwara 2-0. Man of the Match, Nisar Ahmed, landed the opener in the 9th minute as Hub led 1-0 at half-time. Midfielder Mohiuddin hit the second goal in the final minute of game.
