17 NATO oil tankers torched

Unidentified armed men torched seventeen containers carrying oil for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan, in Dera Murad Jamali on Saturday.

According to the police the ambush took place when unknown armed men came in a car and opened fire on tankers parked near a hotel.

The armed men fled after the attack. At least 17 oil tankers caught fire while the fierce ablaze also gutted nearby hotel.

After the attack, Pak-Afghan National Highway was closed for traffic and the security forces cordoned off the area.
